I hear flying is really hard on you these days…I asked my mom if she would give me a ride to the airport if my cousin sprung for the tickets and she said, NO. then she explained how horrible it is to fly anymore…and I changed my mind…I really want to see Italy one day…maybe I could take a boat across the atlantic?
I live in a country away from my family and flying was always a pain.
But recently I’ve got a reason why I will have to return at a sudden notice.
But I’ve developed a fear of flying, even trains and cars scare me now.
I don’t fancy 13hrs sat on a plane with nowhere to move,
I’ve got lots of Xanax but even so I don’t fancy flying at all. A high chance of a full blown panic attack and that’s just the flying bit.
The getting through security etc sounds like a big ball ache.
What specifically put you off? Just so I can add it to the list of why not to go to my native country.
I really don’t want to fly.
Don’t let your mother’s fear of flying stop you from flying … I also have anxieties about flying but I went 8 hours to st Lucia. Best decision I made
I used to hate flying because i was so fat that i couldn’t fit in the seats well and i was embarrassed that people were talking about me…now that I’ve lost weight I’m not ashamed to go on planes anymore. But flying is still a hassle, especially cuz everytime i fly security does a pat down search and i don’t like being touched by strangers.
Planes kinda freak me out, post - schizophrenia; I’ve got a fear of them
I love flying, but had horrible nightmares before going to Europe. But people even stalked me on the plane.
Flying isn’t so bad, but long distance can be a pain. It took like 17hours to get to Hong Kong. First a short flight to Amsterdam where we waited for the connecting plane which used a little more than 11hours with no stops. Was bad for the back to sit that long, at least on economy class.
