Within the next 5 years sodium benzoate may be a big moment if it manages to improve untreated domains. If it don’t all we’ll have is the new antipsychotics. Lumateperone might pass but not be effective and Min-101…might not treat negative symptoms or cognition very well. These are worst case scenarios, of course.
Lumateperone 60 mg sounds AWESOME!

I’m not reading anything in this article that isn’t the results of PH II trials. While the improvement of psychosis may have been statistically significant. It’s still possible that while many people benefited, some others may have benefited less or not at all in that measure. We will see in the ongoing Ph III trial whether or not this drug will be beneficial enough to be approved.

The mind is so complex one chemical in the mind usually has numerous roles and same for genes so it’s hard to just pinpoint the disease without side effects or creating other problems…but one can hope
