Well it’s official. I qualified for SMI services. And super fast too. They said it would take three weeks to process. Mine took three days from them receiving my case to them approving it. Guess they either have a super small case load right now or they thought my case was pretty serious. I’m nervous for the next steps. I don’t want to be switched around on my medications at all. I just want them to keep them the same as they are right now.

SMI stands for serious mental illness it’s a service Arizona has that’s part of Medicaid but isn’t based off of income requirements.

With me, I’m on Social Security Disability and have Medicare. My disability check is too large to qualify for Medicaid or Food Stamps. All I get is HUD Housing Assistance.
