Thanks @ZmaGal I’m kinda scared… We were at my mom’s for a day or two and the scooter came in and I was like it’ll be easy to get up that ramp to her house… I tried it and it was awful… So we came home… Mom’s cat didn’t like Bella always so we came home

I hope it works when you need it. What was wrong with it when you had you’re trial with it?

@ZmaGal ramp was way to steep I had to hold the break down as hard as I could… I don’t think it’s a good idea when I’m half drugged

Can you avoid going there right after your surgery? Is that possible?

@ZmaGal my mom’s house has a ramp the apartment doesn’t and it’s on the first floor so I’m not worried

My sister and mom both had a knee replacement. As long as they did the daily exercise prescribed, they were ok. It helps to keep moving according to them. Sometimes the pain is really bad but it does get better over time and with physical therapy. Good luck!

@ZmaGal thanks but the Dr said the skin is really thin where he’s cutting and not much blood go to that area so not only could it break open easily but an infection can set up very easily

Well, that really sucks! Can he use a balloon elsewhere on your body to grow more skin?

It may take time to get used to it. I know that doesn’t help to hear, but it’s true. It’s frustrating for everyone I imagine.
