When i receive a flag it means for me that something was wrong with my post and i accept it. I don’t edit

I usually try, but the 10 minute wait before you can edit usually means I get distracted and forget.

Technically if your a new user your aren’t always able to edit the post. the icon to do so just disappears after a bit.

No, the ability to edit disappears after about fifteen minutes for everyone, new user or old.
Well, that’s how it used to be anyway. Maybe there’s been an update.

If I remember correctly, @flameoftherhine flagged one of my posts as a joke once. I had a brainfart and agreed on the flag instead of disagreeing on it.
