She was going on and on about my mental health. Asking me if i harm myself or others. Lots of questions. Asked me if social services have ever been involved wirh my kid (they have not)
Its not the first time this has happened .after i gave birth to qwertle when the health visitor found out i had schizophrenia she turned to my partner and said “well i guess its up to you to protect this little one”
Ive never felt such stigma from health professio als before and i am seriously considering stopping engaging with services.
I got this a lot during and after pregnancies. It’s so intrusive and hurtful. I’m sorry you are experiencing this. You are a great mom. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
I know. To be honest i jist think im not going to ever visit a healthcare professional again. Screw my depot tomoerrow ive had enough of the lot. They can all go fck themselves…

What is the Shrewsbury maternity care scandal?
Over two decades at Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust hundreds of babies were left brain damaged or dead. Bereaved mothers were blamed for the deaths of their babies. Independent midwife Donna Ockenden was asked to investigate maternity care at the trust in 2017 by the health secretary at the time Jeremy Hunt.
The scandal has been described as the biggest maternity scandal in the history of the NHS, with clinical malpractice continuing unchecked for over 40 years according to the leaked internal report. An interim report examining 250 cases found that at least 42 babies and three mothers may have died avoidably.
I’m so sorry. This really isn’t fair. I’ve never gotten this. I’ve wondered if it’s because my children were 13 at the time of my diagnosis. I’ve often wondered if I would’ve gotten interrogated too with small children or a pregnancy.
