No friends, no gf, just thinking about a life without sz and OCD. Sometimes I feel trapped and limited by my mental illnesses

I just have one friend that wont talk with me :(
Maybe he or she is going through something. Ask them if he or she is okay: if he or she need you you will be there to listen and help.

I also don’t have friends or a girlfriend, that has been the pattern for me since early childhood. Though before sz I had the potential and disposition to have those things. For those of us in whom the illness is very severe, sometimes we have to set goals we can realistically accomplish. As for thinking about a life without mental illnesses, that may be an unrealistic dream or a realistic one. Some people go into remission, while others will get worse over time or have many relapses. Like you, I am probably chronically psychotic, so the illness may last my lifetime. Its too early for me to tell.
