I doubt I have bipolar at all

I’ve been reading and I come to the conclusion that because I fail to understand my emotions , it’s led me into a diagnosis of bipolar which I don’t have. Cos I couldn’t express what I was feeling so I explained to them what I was reading.

But psychosis is real though.

I’m not a doctor obviously but from what I’ve gathered here about you it seems that you have some type of psychotic disorder.

My guess is schizoaffective disorder or schizophrenia

People with psychotic disorders sometimes have a hard time expressing themselves and also many times they have flat emotions.

But please continue consulting with a doctor about it

Yeah I only just realized I struggle so much with expressing emotions at the ados 2 assessment. I REALLY struggled.

The last pdoc mentioned emotional dysregulation which I assumed was related to bipolar but no can be related to other things.

People with schizophrenia sometimes experience a flattening of their emotions

Maybe this is what you are experiencing

I don’t struggle with experiencing emotion in fact I can get overwhelming emotions … But when I had the ados 2 assessment the questions she asked was how do you feel internally when you are happy or sad or angry what happens in your body. That I couldn’t express even though I feel these emotions I struggle to express them in words. That’s what I mean.

I can tell apart a negative emotion and a positive emotion expressing this is the challenge.
