I don't ever want to go back to oral meds

i like the injections, get the shot and nothing to worry about. i get my injection every 84 days so 4 times a year pretty much, i never think about meds except for when i have symptoms and start to wonder if my meds are no longer working.

also when i took oral meds, i would nearly pass out when standing up after having been seated. my vision would get blurry and i would feel like fainting for a few seconds until it passed, that doesn’t happen with the injection

one of my pdocs was telling me about how if the new med works well for me i can switch to a 1 month or even 3 month injectable if i want. but they moved so now i have a mew pdoc. ive been on invega tablets for like 2 years now. i am pretty good about not missing doses

thats cool, i would probably miss doses all the time if i was on an oral medication again. i would recommend invega trinza, i like it. it’s one shot every 12 weeks, something to talk about with your new pdoc. the only thing is it hurts for a couple days after the shot, i get mine in my arm and can’t workout for a couple days while it’s sore.

injectables are good for alot of people with sz, they can also be a lifesaver for people with it who are having an episode as it is not as easy to stop and theyre more likely to go for another injection once out of the episode and can think clearly and notice its helping

Just wait until your anticholingerin meds wear off if you have OCG.
