so I decided to give up the heavy weight lifting and start running instead. I will still do some lifting but lightweight and heavy on reps for muscle tone. im thinking like do a lift for 3 minutes time and then rest 2 minutes before starting another exercise.
the plan is to stretch and run after I wakeup. then later in the day do some more cardio and stationary bike, lightweight lifting, and bodyweight exercises. then in the evening’s go for another run. im just going to run 20 minutes each session.
so I would like to lose weight now. at the moment im 163 pounds, probably need to get back down to 130 or 140 pounds to be a good runner.
other than physique, my goal is running a 5 minute mile or better and under a 20 minute 5k. I plan to start running in 5k races locally. I will buy a treadmill when I save up enough cash and put it in my bonus room.
im hoping this will stave off any heart disease or pre-diabetes and help me live a longer life.
that is all, it’s decided, unless I change my mind again.
