I can't handle the heat anymore

I think it’s my weight or it could be I’m just use to it being cold for so many months of the year here but I can’t handle the heat anymore. I feel like I can’t breathe. Right now it’s 55F or 13C and I keep going outside in just a tee shirt and it feels good to me. I’m sort of missing the frosty mornings.

It’s going to be 25c here most of the week

Working outside in it is exhausting sometimes

I rather be hot in the summer because I hate the winter and being cold. I keep the thermostat set at 76F (24.4C) which is cold enough for me.

Well it is winter here in Australia. However, where i live it never gets that cold. Honestly 18 C and under is freezing for my partner and i. We couldn’t survive if we moved to another country that actually had a proper winter. If i had to choose between summer and winter, though, i would have to say winter. At least there are things you can do to warm up (eg. extra blankets). But in the summer here, if you don’t have an air conditioner, you’re going to be very uncomfortable. Especially because of the humidity.

My house was 95f yesterday, was hard to sleep, but will take the heat over cold any day

Are you thin? I know when I was thin I would take the heat over the cold too.

No not too thin. I could lose 15 lbs i think

That would be considered thin.

I can’t stand the heat either Leaf. It is winter here and the temperatures have been as low as 7 degrees overnight and I still put my fan on. I blame the Lithium, I am sure it causes overheating somehow. Then again, I am also fat lol.

It’s been in the 90’s here recently but we’ve had the a/c on so it’s been tolerable. Only really hot when I’m forced to go outside for walks or whatever.

I also like the heat more than the cold. I keep my house at 75f in the summer and 70 in the winter. I need to add insulation to the attic.

The med’s they give us greatly lessen our ability to tolerate the fluctuations in the weather. AP’s make us more susceptible to hyperthermia in Summer and hypothermia in Winter. I can only mow one very small lawn in hot weather. I get pretty stressed by it. I might not be able to do even that now.

It’s supposed to be 110 in the Sierra foothills this week.

We don’t really consider anything above freezing to be winter, no matter what time of year it is.
