I can't comprehend stuff

Its a disaster, i read articles in the newspaper, or texts and i can’t comprehend them anymore as i usually did. How can i gain that skill back ?
I read a damaged brain repairs itself from 10 weeks to 10 years.

Just keep trying. I spent almost 3 years unable to read. That killed me because it was my favorite activity. Then one day it came back- the ability.

It took almost two years before I was reading normally again from the time the SZ knocked me sideways. Just keep practicing - you’ll get there.

I used to read constantly. Now I can’t remember the storyline. As I get further into the book. I keep having to go backwards in the book to figure it out. Because of that, I don’t read books anymore. But I’d like to keep trying

I find with reading on the net, it doesn’t matter if I take them out from a library or buy them, I hardly ever even crack books open.

Maybe you read too much by one author? That’s what happened to me, I had like one author I read more than any others and then I suddenly stopped comprehending. Someone told me I got too used to the rhythm of that writer. Maybe he got tired of me? He’s alive to this day, my mom’s age and has almost completely stopped writing though I don’t believe it’s because of his age. Maybe you’d like to learn to crotchet or draw and paint. DISTANT MIRRORS is a cool YouTube site that has artists from outsider or naive artists to professional and I watch it though I’m currently not trying right now. I love crosshatch pictures. I’m holding my breath about drawing because the voice wants it and he’s not very nice.

I haven’t got the concentration to watch a film but can read okay. I have 5 taps open on my computer and always switch between them reading a bit at a time.

I used to have severe issues concentrating, reading, watching tv etc. It has gotten better, but I still struggle with negatives.

SZA cut 20 or 30 IQ points off of me.
