i can read too but its not much better than just thinking on your own such as recalling memories or having a fantasy

I have this problem too. I want to read more but sometimes I’ll set a book down for WEEKS before I pick it up again. Just can’t find it in me to focus on the words those days.

Other times I’m so into a book a can’t put it down for hours on end for multiple days.

Depends on the book. If I’m in a particularly boring or filler part, I’m more likely to set it down. I wish I could stay more consistent.
