I couldn’t find my car registration so I went online to get a copy sent to me. It turns out I never renewed it back in February! I’ve been driving it illegally since February!!! OMG!

Good you found out. That could have been a problem if you’d been picked up. Over here the police have scanners in their cars that read number plates and alert when things like registration or licences are out of date. My sister got done because her licence had expired as she forgot about it and didn’t realise.

Yeah, if you were in California and you didn’t have the current tags on, the cops will pull you over. Take care of that pronto. Also, the longer you wait to get your registration renewed, the more it will cost.

I’m going to do it today. You get pulled over in Michigan too, but somehow I never got caught
