I broke out the electric throw this morning

It was downright chilly. 40 F here. I was loving it all cuddled up in my electric throw blanket. I was trying to get the cat to feel it’s powers of total comfort but she was far to into killing her mice and paper bag.

I’m not sure how old she is. She’s under a year, but over 6 months. She’s really underweight so that probably stunted her growth as well as having a litter when she was too young for one. I got her from the Humane Society last week. I named her Sweetie. But really I should have named her Taz cus she’s a little devil lol.

I have the best heating pad. It’s dried herbs and such and you put it in the microwave for 3 minutes and then it drapes over your shoulders and conforms around your neck and it smells so good like lavender and mint. It really eases tension. Worth it’s weight in gold.

i think i heard somewhere (not 100% sure) that cats sometimes come and snuggle with you just for your body heat
they really are that selfish :joy:

She’s not impressed with my blanket yet but just wait until winter when it gets 10 below and you can’t keep the house warm enough. Bet she’ll be into my blanket then

Lol idk it used to be the poet but I like the idea of being an idiot lol! Sort of like the idea of the king being secretly advised through the bumbling bafoonery of the jestor and his seemingly foolish song and dance :joy:

There’s nothing more poetic to me, when a fool utters a wise word. It’s even funnier when he doesn’t notice

Isn’t the fool a tarot card?

Hmmm I just mean as a trope or idea. I think it’s been done in a Shakespeare work or something
