Yeah people are dodgy but thinking they are after you specifically is paranoia. It’s an insidious symptom that paranoia and you just need to keep fighting it. If they are a dealer they don’t want attention so leaving them alone is working for you both.
It’s hard. I get stressed I get paranoid but I know when I think like that it’s my thoughts and not others.
Till you can move you just need to ignore the extraneous stuff. It’s hard but look after yourself and just do what you need to do. I live next to a poor neighbourhood here. It’s nothing like over there but we have dodgy peeps walking by all the time. Better to just do your thing and not worry about others.
You can always defend yourself. That your thinking in those terms is concerning.
You could move or live with it. The decision is up to you. I know some other people on this forum who live in dodgy neighborhoods but they are still alive!
Do you still have that plan of moving up North and buying a house for you and Mason?
Hey mate. Sorry had little bro drop through to use my weights so was doing some socialising.
Reason why your working is to improve your lot and move. I doubt anyone is out to get you because it’s most likely ideation and I know how that goes. Just relax. Do your thing and don’t worry about what others are doing…You can’t help notice people moving through your neighbourhood.
Mate. How you feel now might not be how you feel in 6 months. Its a marathon and not a sprint so don’t sell yourself out early. It’s the long game so think of those things you want in your life and move towards them…I dig the isolation because you’ve been disappointed in the past but leave yourself open to new adventures…
Your a good egg and I know you take it way too hard on yourself. You can make a life out there in the universe but you’ve got to take those first steps to integrate.
Try to figure out the facts to fight against this. He keeps walking past your window because hes likely a neighbor. Hes wearing the same clothes because he may not have another hoody or might wear the same thing for several days in a row (i do). Maybe he puts up his hoody because he doesnt do well on the main road with all those people. Maybe he has social anxiety or PTSD. There’s usually a logical explanation for the things we are paranoid about, our brain just doesnt want us to see them for some reason.
