I had hell putting on my clothes. I’m almost 200lbs. I am cutting out meat and junk food. It makes me sick. I’m going to do it the right way. Who here is even a little bit over? What would you do?
I’m over weight also. I’ve been trying to eat smaller portions, move more and eat more fruits and veggies. Its so hard though. Food is like a drug to me.
Remeron really ■■■■■■ up my weight.
For many years, I was pretty good even on all my meds.
I have covid weight now, however. I’m starting to buy new clothes in larger sizes,
I replaced my sugar intake with sugar free sweetener, Splenda and whenever I want something sweet I use 0 calories sugar free Mio water enhancer, its sweetened with Splenda, it tastes like juice, great. I also replaced my breakfast with a 180 calories protein bar 21g protein.
I like mio flavoring. I hope I can still eat rice.
@Aziz Good you folks are trying to get to a healthy weight.
@Aziz - Where did you buy the mio?
From Amazon Canada but also Walmart and other stores have them. It costs 3$ per bottle which makes 24x 250ml.
Thanks, I think im going to buy some. @Aziz
I also have the Kool Aid cherry one, its similar and 3$.
I weighed 240 pounds (109 kg) before I started my new lifestyle. To lose weight, I exercised 5 days per week and ate 1200 calories per day. I tracked my calories by using MyFitnessPal. In 13 months, I lost 100 pounds (45 kg). You can do this! It’s hard, but it is possible
Losing 100 pounds is a great accomplishment, congrats! @LilyoftheValley
Thanks @TheCanuk!
I did a similar thing with smoking, last year around sept. I started walking twice a day and quit smoking… so far so good. I’m not sure I could do that with my weight though.
Good job quitting smoking! And walking is great for you
Yes smoking is a nasty habit. You’ll save money for other things. Hugs
More vegetables and fruits, cut down on sugary foods and excess carbs and exercise more.
Thanks, good job loosing the weight.
@roxanna thanks
