I am on my way to a town in

Indiana by Amtrak train. I’m going to visit my family for a couple of days. That’s all I can handle and I can barely handle that. My grandnephew is graduating h.s.

I always get paranoid when I’m around my family. That’s why this trip is very short.

There’s nothing wrong with keeping the trip short. It sounds like a good idea.

You have more faith in me than I do @Wave. I only know from hard experience that it often doesn’t turn out so good.

Well I’m sitting in the Chicago train station heading back to Omaha. The only way I got through the last few days was by retreating to either my niece’s master bedroom or my sister’s guest bedroom whenever the paranoia/anxiety got too intense.

I got an hour and a half more layover before my train arrives.

You got through it, so well done .

I would estimate that I spent 60% of my waking hours there hiding in bedrooms with doors closed.
