I agree with this. I think a lot of people get in trouble with thinking they need to be happy all the time and that there is something wrong if they are not.
All emotions are natural and should be embraced. After learning this, I deal with sadness, anger, happiness, joy, etc… a lot better. It’s all an experience. The problem comes from imbalances. I used to be depressed all the time, and now with medicine I can feel sadness normally, and it soon passes. But I can also feel other emotions again. But you gotta find the right ones, because some meds can make you numb, also not good. See, we need to feel something, because it’s normal.
