I am getting new glasses! 🤓

I went to the VA yesterday and got an eye test and picked out my frames. And oh God was my optometrist hot! lol.

Anyways, I picked out some pretty “Buddy Holly looking” glasses. They’re pretty cool I think. Nice and thick, black plastic that are clear on the bottom.

I can’t wait to get them!!

LoL! She asked me before she did my eye test if there was anything else (other than an eye test) that she could do for me. And the response of asking for her number was on the tip of my tongue.

it’s good you’re getting new glasses. i can’t see without mine. one time, i lost my glasses. in a day or 2, i had new ones waiting at the local glasses store. but when i was walking to the store, i got lost because i couldn’t see.

i’ve had these new glasses for many years now. haven’t replaced them.

I got new glasses a few months ago. They kind of have a smaller profile. My aunt helped me pay to get transition lenses.

The eyeglasses the U.S. Navy gave me when I was active duty were informally called ‘birth control’ glasses.

Unfortunately I never had the chance to see (no pun intended) if they were effective in that regard.
