I am convinced I have sz. No matter what the doctors say. I am convinced I have it. So if I am convinced and its a delusion, don’t I actually have sz. I know this sounds confusing.
Haha I am making no sense. I really need to sleep early tonight. I haven’t been sleeping very well lately…
Bipolar____X________________Schizoprenia
Me on the Bipolar/Schizophrenia Spectrum Scale.
X marks where I stand.
I guess i am the same way @Wave but I feel mines is more towards hte sz spectrum… maybe sza…
Yeah technically I have SZA @anon25873142
But probably more on the bipolar side.
Honestly it makes no difference. Plus hey don’t you want the less stigmatizing label of bipolar?
My personal favorite label is chemical imbalance.
I think this is one of the big reasons my psychiatrist diagnosed me with bipolar disorder.
Less stigma.
My therapist who diagnosed me with Schizoaffective agrees.
Possibly one of the reasons for me too
But I feel they lied to me for this reason. Or are they not allowed to ? Idk
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia (not even schizoaffective), even though I emphasised that the delusions tend to be established during manic episodes.

I wouldn’t worry about it. You want to get to a good level of functioning and forget about the diagnosis
