How's your sense of direction?

I have difficulties finding my way around. I totally lose my sense of direction if I walk in a new city.

New research has found a link between Alzheimer’s and local senses.

My memory is gravely impaired and my grandfather died in Alzheimer’s.

I hope I don’t live that long as he did, if I do I hope that I don’t get Alzheimer’s.

My navigation abilities have always been poor.

Mine is really good.

How old are you? Does dementia run in your family??

Good for you. You are in the safe zone!

No, but Alzheimers does on one side. I have had issues with navigation even when I was a young man so I’m not too concerned about it being a sign of Alzheimers. Although, I do admit that the threat of Alzheimers does worry me some.

I’ll probably get it if it comes down to having a sense of direction. I keep forgetting which street my friends live at, even though I keep visiting them. Sometimes I call them and ask them which building number they live at.

It wasn’t a pretty picture how my grandfather died. He suffered.

Oops. I didn’t answer this question. I am 48. But like I said, this was an issue for me, even in my 20’s. So, I don’t think it’s alzheimers related. It’s just something that I have never been skilled at.

But I’m the same. I’ve always had a lousy sense of direction. Even when I was a little kid.

My direction is poor. I don’t like to travel to unfamiliar cities without having someone with me. The people I have travelled with seems to have a much better sense of direction than I do. I’m in my 40’s

I have never got lost, It’s on my bucket list. But it is hard to do, with my sense of direction.

Always had a bad sense of direction. Had to rely on signs and google maps.
