How will weight-loss drugs change our relationship with food?

Thanks to Covid I’ve been consuming a lot of carbs like soup with pasta or rice
I’ve gained like 7 pounds!

Weight loss drugs like Mounjaro work but only if you consume very little carbs

Hmmm… that’s very interesting…

I mean veggies are fine but the issue with these meds is that you have to keep processed carbs to a minimal if you want good results

The drugs reduce appetite so you eat less. That’s great if you’re eating a healthy diet. If you live on ramen and pork rinds all it will do is make you gain weight more slowly.

I agree with @shutterbug…I’ve been on Mounjaro and it does reduce appetite and make you feel full longer, but you still have to follow a healthy diet. My doctor had me eat high protein, low carb and fat diet when i was on it…if you eat gallons of ice cream on Mounjaro, it’s not gonna work. You also need to exercise, otherwise all the weight you lose would be muscle.
