In many ways the mental health system let me down here in America. For 23 years the psychiatrists put me on Haldol a major tranquilizer. This was considered success back in the early 80s. I was numbed out and my thinking process was almost nonexistent. In my mind I thought this state was due to the schizophrenia. Not until I changed to Abilify in the early 2000s did I realize that

Tell me about it. In the hospital I was put on a dose of Prolixen that was so high, they don’t even prescribe that much anymore.
