I tried taking abilify at night and the anxiety was unbearable during the day. Now I take it during the day with l-theanine and the anxiety is just about bearable. It’s definitely better for me to take it during the day.

But @sunshine takes abilify, and it became bearable for her when she started taking it at night!

So the lesson is, it can make a difference what time of day you take your AP, but it’s different for everyone.

I think do not hate the tablets, it’s psychiatric that know how and why change it. Situation is not in your control so believe other who specialise, they work in their way and you work in your way. It’s not necessary to explain all your facts with doctors.

Yes, it started losing its effectiveness for me and it was scaring my cardiologist. I was also on Effexor, which I belatedly found out is bad to combine with Geodon. The Rexulti isn’t working quite as well for me as the Geodon did, so I’m having to learn to live with increased positive symptoms. I don’t like it, but a person doesn’t get everything they want.

i am super jealous of u…!!! Cheers Pixel…!!!

I have to take it as late as possible as it gives me horrible restlessness that only sleep can resolve. I would be in bed about an hour after taking it trying to fight it off and sleep.

Got aliens in the back corner of my brain whispering to me and the persistent delusion that my pacemaker is implanted alien tech manipulating me. I can feel its tendrils moving around my chest. Distracting. I can push this crap to one side and keep going on about my day, but I’d rather not have to. I miss where I was with meds two years ago.

My 10 years was very suffering, Third times when I required to admit in hospital than a gentle man I think he is a spy came in my life for half hour, from him I understand the philosophy of psyco, but without speaking only he transfer his thoughts by brain to brain as I believe. Otherwise schizophrenia is only cronic.

It is worse than hiv and cancer…!!

I divide my Risperidone doses.
I take 1mg in the morning and 2mg at night.
I like to take it this way.

I take 300mg of seroquel in the morning - same at night. This wiped me out real bad for about 18 months. Is more better now. Seroquel can be really sedating.
