How long it take for doc to know the right doses ?

For me, it was a long process. It took almost ten years to find the correct medication for me, and they’re still adjusting my doses. The dose you need will change, over time. In the beginning, you need much more medication to get rid of your symptoms. Once they’ve been gone for a while, your doctor will usually try reducing your dose to the lowest effective dose for you.

It depends. It took years for me to find a good med combo. Some people find it quicker I am sure.
