Just be yourself. You’re not fat and you have nothing to be ashamed of. Lots of people are overweight

120 is what my mom weighed in her 20’s.
I don’t know if you are from Europe or elsewhere @grumpy , but in the U.S.
170 is near average weight for a woman.
I could Google for it if you like.

If I ever find myself in that situation (I also have a handsome, fit partner while being quite overweight myself), I’ll probably go up to the person spouting ■■■■, tell them my life story pertaining to the reasons I’m overweight, like the antipsychotics and why I’m on them, then ask them if they still have the audacity to judge me… while having the police called on me, I’m sure.

Lol! My attitude is that my reasons for weight gain are absolutely none of their business. What I was going to say is that I landed him because I’m a much kinder, genuine person than them. Maybe that wouldn’t work though.

The meds I were on caused me to gain weight too. But I have a body, partially due to working out, that doesn’t show excess fat much until I get very heavy.
Huge hands and feet for a 5’10.5’’ guy too.
I want to lose 20-30 pounds.

People bully everything they can on the internet. YouTube comments are almost always pretty depressing. The people making the comments probably have something “wrong” with them too. Basically to be immune you have to be a thin, successful wealthy white heterosexual male. Everybody else is a target.

I personally think that bigger people can look more generous and kind. They look more satisfied. Lol. Like the laughing buddha statues. Skinnier people can be pickier and higher strung.
It probably depends on the person. I probably gotta carefully find the right people to accept me.
