A friend asked me “Can’t you just make yourself do it?” and I replied “No” at the time. Now I am a little bit better at getting things done even when I don’t want to. But I have a long way to go about it.
I can get motivated from time to time, but not often. I am especially good at talking myself back out of doing things.

Oh I’m not good at it but if I am pushed by circumstance or friendly motivation, I almost never regret doing the thing I was putting off.

Drive is a self preserving process to make right your equilibrium which is a state of optimal functioning. You get excited when your equilibrium is off because you know somethings not right. This can drive a person’s behavior to fix it. I just looked this up last night. Pretty cool.
I don’t have a proper, defined ambition / life goal, therefore my drive is crap.
I suck at getting myself going. I have major issues with avolition. But I’m gonna work on it. Tomorrow I’m getting up at 0600 to go on a bike ride for at least an hour. I’m determined. Wish me luck.
