How do people cycle Melatonin?

Some nights I use Melatonin to fall asleep. Other nights I use L-Theanine and Melissa(Lemon Balm). I heard that you have to cycle Melatonin. I’m not sure how people do it. Take Melatonin for a week straight then the next week cycle off of it? Take Melatonin Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I’m really not sure.

I’ve been taking it for 5 days and then taking 2 days off but I only take 1.5 mg. I’ve also only been taking it for a couple weeks but I tried taking it a few months ago and wasn’t cycling it. I ended up waking up after only a few hours of sleep and not being able to get back to sleep. I was actually taking 3 mg at that time. I read that your brain reacts to it better if you take less because it’s closer to the natural amount your body makes.

I had a weird dream with Melatonin and I just thought I was using it wrong. I just woke up and started screaming. I do that sometimes. I take 3-6mg of Melatonin. I’ll keep it mind. Thanks @Xade

Lion’s mane, white mulberries, rhodiola, and I’m starting to take ALCAR which I’ve taken on and off. I’m still not 100% sure about ALCAR but I think it’s fairly helpful. Methyl folate, P5P and methyl b12 are good. Manganese lowers dopamine so it’s useful.

Yeah I I’ve been taking ALCAR and haven’t noticed much. Maybe my focus is a little better and I’m burning more fat. Not entirely sure though.
