One of the many reasons a screening test would still be useful, even though doctors think they can tell.

Just goes to show that even smart medical doctors can’t read peoples’ minds, thereby proving that paranoid ideas about other people reading our minds are merely a delusion.

Although perhaps there is nothing ‘merely’ about being delusional.

Really wish mental disorders could be diagnosed with blood tests. However if that were true they’d probably also be communicable by blood, which would suck so much it would outweigh the benefit of testability.

I always viewed diagnosis as just a starting place to begin treatment. The mind is too complex and too nuanced to put it in little boxes that are supposed to tell us everything about a person.
