Anyone else get paranoid at night time when they’re home alone? My family went up North for the weekend. I’ve been doing good mentally but I’m feeling a bit paranoid being home alone. It’s embarrassing that I feel the need to be around people for my safety.

If I’m ever home alone at night, I just turn on all the lights in the house.
Plus I got a metal bat right under my bed.

I hear ya @TheCanuk-- I turn on all the lights in my house and keep the TV on. If it gets really bad I’ll usually call someone and have just have the phone on speaker in the background.

Yes if I’m by myself I get very paranoid and I’m not able to sleep.

Was scared of demons when I was alone
Not home alone, but if I were I would have a large strong dog to protect me and sleep by my side. Also be able to call the cops at a moments notice.

Stay on the forum and check in every so often on Say Anything. That’s what I do if I feel creeped out from being up alone.
