This sucks.

Cos its not clear how much is too much
And they’re not sure what the high death rate involves, why its higher exactly

Wat are vegans meant to do

There is the fortified drinks option which is less b12 per serving, but they don’t contain methyl-cobalamin

They contain cyano - cobalamin in fortified drinks like almond milk. the cyanide part makes me a bit concerned.

Anyone else?

According to the “recommended daily Intake”.

You need to take 2.4mcg of b12.

I looked everywhere to find them but no luck.

Try multivitamins. Some of them have higher doses than that of course but they’re going to be smaller than specific B vitamin supplements.

I wouldn’t worry too much about this though, they haven’t even established that people’s level of B-12 was higher due to higher supplementation or higher for another reason, like perhaps eating more red meat.

LS! Is this research properly done? Is it just that people with bad health take vitamins? I must say I doubt it very much. Look what happens to your cognition if you do not take it:
