Does anybody have a high deductible insurance that make your meds way too expensive in the first half of the year?
Im taking paliperidone that I was paying just a couple bucks for and now the through the mail company that my insurer wants me to use, has informed me that this prescription is currently at $250+ per month because its the start of a new year.
I believe that paliperidone is already the generic form if invega. Does anybody have any insight on ridiculous pharma pricing?
Yes that’s happens to me. We have to pay $2000 out of pocket before they pay for the rest of the year. We use the FSA card to help.

Flex spending account?
Yes. It is the only thing that saves us.
I pay for 24 meds per month. It really adds up for us. I wish medication was free for everyone.

I think even fair pricing would make a big difference.

Absolutely. Even my insulin is $100 per month. I need it to live. It shouldn’t be this expensive.
