Here's a question that probably hasn't been asked before. What do you LIKE most about having a mental illness?

I hate sza. The only good things about it are my SSDI and pension checks. And that’s it. And if it weren’t for those, I’d most likely be living on the streets. Another statistic.

I know this would happen because I can’t retain jobs due to my migraines and behavioral inappropriateness.

I really hate some of my symptoms. If my symptoms became a being in and of themselves I would enjoy beating it to death with a baseball bat.

It’s made me more introspective, accepting of myself, and has shown me just how adaptable I am.

I can definitely say that I agree with EVERYTHING everyone is saying. The good and the bad. But for me knowing that if I just sleep all day or watch Netflix and YouTube conspiracy videos all day I’ll still have a place to live and food to eat is REALLY nice. But now I’m sort of feeling bad on disability and so I’m trying to get off lol. But having it as a back up is really nice! One time I was working 2 jobs that paid VERY well and was still collecting disability. Those 9 months of back to work income are amazing!

Uhhh…barring craziness on my part, the disease in and of itself is not fatal.
