I was thinking of buying dried herbs and thought to myself, why don’t I just grow them?
I am thinking of buying basil, rosemary, thyme, and oregano (if it’s available).
I’m also thinking of planting camomile.
I was cruising Pinterest today and I found these “basil trees ” and I was like woah I want to do that.
I’m really excited to have a small herb garden!

Good for you @anon10648258 . It sounds exciting. I bought a few herb plants a couple years back when I was growing vegetables in a garden. I never ended up using them on foods though.
Thanks! I might purchase some marjoram seeds from the internet. Or I will just work on growing one basil tree .

We grow our own herbs during our short growing season. Also winter some over inside, but use them sparingly.
I have a lot of different herbs in my garden (10-15). Basil grows best in a self watering plant pot (it needs a lot of water)
Mentha (peppermint) is a very aggressive herb and can spread itself, so it’s best to grow in a pot. And it can grow in the shady part of the garden.
Most other herbs just need a lot of sun, a lot of them flowers beautifully - especially sage.
Good luck, and just ask if you have any questions.
