Yes she is with me
Your sister needs you. It’s important that you not harm yourself, both for you and for your sister.
Watch this video:
You can and will learn to control the voices as you get older:
I need to let them win
No. Have you not listened to the voices ever before when they’ve told you to hurt yourself?
Watch this video about how this guy overcome the voices:
I don’t know if this helps or not, but… I’ve had SZ for over 25 years. I’ve had malicious voices telling me to do horrible things to myself for much of this time. They also threaten me that others I care for will be hurt if I don’t.
The voices are not real, they’re just noise. I know they FEEL real and there is a hellish compulsion to obey, but you don’t have to. The crap they’re spouting is complete bull. Nothing they have promised will come to pass has EVER happened in all this time. Not once. There is no danger at all in ignoring them. I promise you.
Also, I know you don’t like hospitals, but sometimes they’re the best thing for you. If a professional recommends a hospital visit, please consider it. They only want to help and it truly will help.
Sending hugs and best wishes. Please keep us in the loop on how how you’re doing, okay?
You can get better, please ask for professional help
You don’t deserve this pain - you can and must get treatment to make the voices go away.
You’re ill and you’re under stress.
We do, right here, right now.
Nothing! Sometimes bad stuff just happens. The bottom line is that you’re ill, your illness is very treatable, but that you have to let others help. That’s the fastest way to get rid of this pain.
You know … what would really hurt your sister is if you hurt yourself! Your sister definitely loves you as much as you love her. Hurting yourself just hurts her.
You don’t deserve this pain. Of course you don’t. Unfortunately, both physical and mental illnesses can suddenly show up and it can be really scary to get a diagnosis.
It’s important that you get the appropriate medical treatment. It’s also important that you get support from your family.
Here is another good video of a person who like you has heard voices during a stressful time in her life. When you get over this stress and things get better, the voices will go away:
@Idkhelp I love you and I am here for you.
Give the meds a little time to work if you’re on medication. They really help with voices, but it needs a little time to work best
Did they give you any medicine when you got the diagnosis? It usually takes a few weeks for the medicine to destroy the voices… but just hang on until then and don’t hurt yourself.
@Idkhelp. Here’s a thread from just a couple days ago of a forum member who was diagnosed at age 13 and who is doing pretty well now.
They are telling me to hurt myself and if I don’t they will hurt my sister
The voices tell me not to take my meds not to trust anyone
I had the same.
With the right meds, they will vanish
