Help getting on disability

Greetings,

I need some resource help in applying for disability for my wife. I’ve read a few of the other threads on this but I need to know where I can download the application, then some general information on experiences in dealing with rejection and how to pick a lawyer for the appeals and any other information you can give. My wife has sza and right now the meds make her very zombie like, she’s not able to work…we’re trying to find a med that will work for her but until then she needs help.

Thank all you wonderful people for sharing your lives and experiences, is has made a world of difference for me in helping get her the right treatments.

I’m assuming you are talking about disability in the US.

Look to the left at the different links. I would go through each link so you can get a better idea of what is involved in the process and what you need to do. Make sure to especially look at “Adult Listings (Part A).” It will tell you specifically what qualifies as a disability.
