Do you think if the heartbreak is bad enough… do you ever really get over it?
My mom for example, her ex from over 40 years ago… he’s passed away now and she has 2 kids with him… well, she told me, if she saw him again she’d probably fall for him all over…
I on the other hand, have not fully been able to get over my ex either and it’s been about 9 years since we broke up…
I’ve been waiting and waiting for the day I don’t think about them anymore…
I got over a heartbreak around the time I was diagnosed. About 9 years now. I think it depends on many factors, who you are, who they are, what the memories were and so on
I’ve been heart broke once before, but we ended up getting back together so that might’ve helped.
I wasn’t heart broke the second time we broke up. I think I would’ve eventually got over it though even if she’d never came back though.
Idk it may be different from person to person, but I couldn’t see myself being in love with someone if they didn’t love me back for too long before trying my chances with someone else and moving on.
