Heard on NPR, it was disturbing but heartfelt, and important. TW

a man was out and about, doing nothing wrong, but he looked and acted strange, not offensive though.

I guess some ass called the cops, and this guy told the cop I’m an introvert, don’t mess with my sensibilies.

not sure what pursued, but the cop put him in a choker hold, and he lost oxygen to his brain. died a day later at the hospital.
stop killing the mentally ill!!

and no he wasn’t black, they would have said.

usually any sort of altercation suggests resistance, but then again why do us as citizens not have the right to defend ourselves against police officers? just more charges if you try it, their word against yours, who’s on the jury?

When if comes to dealing with the cops I just become very subservient and obedient. I do what they tell me, I remain polite and tell the truth about whatever they want to know. I’ve never had a problem. I’ve seen people become belligerent with the cops and it rarely ends well.

That doesn’t mean I liked getting arrested and taken to the hospital, or that I liked getting a speeding ticket when other cars were going the same speed as me, but I suck it up and act on my best behaviour.

state troopers can be just as bad.

but local, I’ve had cops here haul me away cuz I said to my family, This life is just too difficult.

I put up a big fight, didn’t want to go. but then I went, and came around when I was in-patient.

I was supposed to see a judge, and I had my daughter bring me a mini skirt, and nice top. but the judge dropped it.

I heard on my local NPR that the Justice Department is going to start requiring all federal law enforcement agents to wear body cams.

That’s terrible what happened to that man.

I had a cop asking for 110 dollars on the side of the road. They said they wouldn’t take me to jail if I paid them 110 bucks. Crooked mofos

The police are really skilled at excessive force. They also don’t have problems locking a newly diagnosed schizophrenic in solitary without meds for half a year.

If I could, I’d sentence every cop in this county to six months 24/7 solitary, same as they gave me. After they get out they can have their badges back.
