Hello Everyone:
I’ve been on this site as a spectator, hoping to get some ideas on how to best help my guy of 2 years. Presently, he’s been in a psychosis. His meds have been adjusted as of 10 days ago. He’s been using his magnifying glass and collecting hair, fuzz, tiny scraps of paper, etc…that he says are worms. They live in the carpet and burrow into his body at his fingertips and toes. He’s also very paranoid about anything that he perceives as shiny. This includes any metal, semi precious stones, sunlight, smooth surfaces. He gets himself into such a state that he will not sleep—this makes all of his hallucinations even worse, if you can imagine. Watching this is breaking my heart. Do you have any words for how I may help him? Has anyone else dealt with anything that I’ve described? Help me! Much love and respect for this beautiful community.

You should report all this back to his psychiatrist. They’re really the only one who can help.
Also you should join the family forum
