Having doubts about my masters

You could always take a class on python. Python is super easy and intuitive. I recommend Edx’s MIT python course. You’ll learn the basics and more.

You guys are all super smart and operate at a much, much higher level than me. I am a dummy down here.

@Redliner Yeah Im seeing her later in the month, I can wait till then. Im still on the fence about going to ask for disability help with my coordinator. I might do it, I dont know. They do know that Im sz though.

@insidemind Im totally down to do that! Thanks for the resource

@SkinnyMe Youre no dummy! You can play fancy piano pieces that I can only listen to and appreciate from afar! Id say youre operating at quite a level yourself

Go to your school’s office of disability services and see what they can offer. Maybe you qualify for a tutor who can teach you programming. As well as many other things that will help you succeed

Talk to the disability office and let them know what’s going on. I think they will be able to help. After talking to the disability office, it might be worth talking to your professors.

Python is actually more intuitive than C++ or Java. I recommend learning through Code Academy. Pick the Python course to start, or, if you’re really confident in C++ or Java start with the Machine Learning course. Machine Learning is just analytics programming using basic statistics. I also suggest that if you don’t know how to do something in Python, do a thorough Google search. The concepts are exactly the same as in Java or C++, the syntax is just slightly different (easier, actually). Trust me, it isn’t that difficult to pick up. I tried the Machine Learning course with absolutely no background, and I was able to get through everything simply using Google - Python is that intuitive
