Having a father is like

Having a live-in stalker.

Not in my case, a stalker takes an interest in his pick and pays it too much attention…

Having mine wasn’t. He saved my life. And incidentally he saved me from a couple beatings.

It occurs to me, why didn’t you put this in the unusual belief section?

my father was an evil ■■■■■■■…oh so many happy memories…mmmmm…which shall i pick !!!
take care

I don’t think it’s that unusual.

My dad had such extreme social withdrawal we hardly ever saw him. I used to stalk him (by taking cups of tea out to the garage for him). Otherwise, I would hardly have clapped eyes on him.

It’s pretty unusual.

I don’t believe you.

Kind of insulting to the fathers here. Would be nice if you could just once in a while post something positive? It’s Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada and I’m especially thankful for my wife and daughter.

Out of the two Dad was the better parent. Mum being the evil twisted bitch.

If there were no dark side to the moon, neither would there be a light side. I cannot demand happiness.

My father walked out on us multiple times. When he really began leaving us is also when I had my first episode, him leaving didn’t help the family much.

I have a difficult relationship with my father. He was stern, picky and almost lost temper on me everyday. I was living in fear when he was home. But he was proud of me and liked me very much because I performed great at school. Now I am an adult and feel very uncomfortable with his existence. I care him but don’t talk to him.

Relax Chordy. Breathe.
