So far it’s okay. I’m confused why I can’t ask one question after another though. Must be doing something wrong. It’s quite nice black and white instead of chatgpt white background.

I think it’s because of the cyber attacks on it. After wiping out trillions or billions of stock value on different markets it’s being targeted according to the news so far

I put in a question about Economics and it gave a very good answer with the problems of scientific validity on the subject - I really liked the answer - it has a good foundational awareness to it, feels very clever. Almost like a sensible human

It runs well in LM Studio. Very fast and high quality responses on a local system.

I’ve only used it in browser mode, don’t know if it’s different to an LM studio version (in fact, I don’t really know what LM studio is tbh, googled it though)
This is really gonna slow things down. Now no one’s going to wanna innovate when they know a few months down the line some one will replicate and fine tune for cheaper. Or I guess it might just mean the end for open sourcing.

I feel like it won’t be the end of open sourcing, people like to be generous in general and not everyone wants to extravagantly monetise their hobbies imo

The open source community has enough available to them to keep going on their own now. The big companies will likely resort to legal attacks next, like MS did with Linux (using SCO as a gormless proxy) and fail again.
