Have you had this? 'Ghosting' and the brain - brain damage, brain tumour or schizophrenic brain?

HI i think i first had this about 2 years ago… it hasn’t happened a lot but bit more common now - still not many times overall at all-
like on psychedelics effectively seeing frame after frame

I’ve had a few probs with forgetting what i’m saying half way through a sentence

  • today - about 5x in an hour during counselling…

also as often as that I’m also getting sounds wrong when i speak like the wrong word or more usually vowel sounds.

do you get this??

this has become normal almost

i’m thinking i shouldn’t ignore it even though i’ve had an eye test go gp

but it could just be a schizophrenic thing - like other visual disturbances i get

maybe just cos its winter

Yikes, that sounds awful. I think I do experience losing my train of thought more often since my schizophrenia symptoms manifested themselves.

Are you getting enough sleep? It’s worse for me if I don’t get enough rest.

The first one is definitely a normal symptom with sz. I’ve had it too. Think it’s called though blocking. Does not indicate any organic brain problems.

Thanks - okay that does sound probable

Cognitive difficulties too so that’s half of it accounted for
