I have to lose 20 pounds. What diet do you reccomend?

Whole30 was amazing for me. It’s an elimination diet, so if you have any health issues it can really help you identify if any foods are contributing.
But I lost 18 lbs in the 30 days last time I did it.
Download a calorie counter and start calorie counting !
High fruits & vegetables as well as protein diet. Eat as few carbohydrates as possible.
Also, calorie counting is good if you like to look at nutrition labels a lot.
Your diet will not match the diet that I eat since my physical activity is much higher than most users on this forum.
cut out all junk food eat a lot of fruit and veg and drink a lot of water ect also exercise for 2 hours every day i go for a long walk every day!No takeaways!

No don’t deny yourself eating bread rice or pasta.
Just make sure they are made from whole grains or brown rice.
I’m on a lower carb diet and lost a lot of weight, but to be honest I started losing weight when I got off of Depakote.
It helps to lose weight when you are not taking weight gaining psych meds.
How long did it take to lose the weight and how many pounds did you lose?
I lost over 25 pounds.
In about one year.
But recently lost over 10 pounds within 6 months.
I disagree, if you can cut out most grains and not feel like you’re seriously depriving yourself, you should. You don’t need grains. You can get a better bang for your caloric buck elsewhere.
