Have flu. Can't go out to get meds. Will split some old meds to keep me going

I take 15mg abilify. I have some old (but not expired) abilify 10mg tablets. I also have an abilify pill splitter.

So if I spilt some of the old 10mg pills I can make up 15mg. This should give me a 10 days supply to get over the flu and get my meds from the pharmacy.

It’s a pain but it beats making my way into town with a heavy dose of the flu.

Can your pharmacy deliver the meds to you?

No. There’s another pharmacy that I could go to that does deliver. But if I get my meds delivered I’d never leave the house. It’s an excuse to force myself to go out. But it would be handy in this instance for sure.
