Has anyone thought about having a therapy group on the Net?

Several CADCs and NCACs got together a few years ago to see if they could measure the difference in the Drunkalog and Nazi quotient between meetings in “AA clubs” vs. meetings in other venues in a region about 60 miles due east of Los Angeles. Everyone came to the same conclusion: While far from “all bad,” club AA had far more egotists and control freaks per capita than non-club AA.

Lol, that quote is from the bible but I remember it from sex and the city!

You get an AMEN for that. I no longer do club AA on the firm belief that one should save hell for after death. Also, it reminds me too much of church (same personalities at play).

I can’t go totally black & white on it, but I never go to those 5:30 pm “happy hour” meetings anywhere anymore. (There’s a good reason some people call them “dry bars.”)

It’s more like playing the odds. Or avoiding being played with by odd people. Take your pick.

Oooooh, yeah. (But in my case, the younger boys on my “big yellow school bus” wind up fuming. So I just don’t take them there any more.)
