What was it like? I’m kind of worried about whether I can do it or not.
Never heard of it …
I think it is a test to see how strong your heart is.
It could be called something else in the UK maybe?
Treadmill test? I would die if I had to do that. No, really, it shouldn’t be hard my parents in the 70’s have had stress tests recently and they survived. Don’t be anxious about it.
I sure hope if it’s my heart they will find out the problem so it can be fixed.
It’s a pretty straightforward test. They connect a bunch of electrodes to you (sort of like when you get an EKG) and then put you on a treadmill.
I did it, but they didn’t do the treadmill because if you don’t make it through you have to do a different kind, so they just started me with that one.
They inject you with a drug that makes your body think it’s exercised a bunch. It made me really nauseous and light headed. But it only lasted a little while. Then they do the imaging portion. You have to do a lot of sitting and waiting. It was a 2 day test.
