Has anyone ever come off Lamictal?

And if so, did you have to do it really slowly? Or could it be done over 10 days, for instance?

I’ve gotten off Lamictal a few times.
Getting on Lamictal has to be done slowly but getting off Lamictal can happen very quickly.

This is according to my psychiatrist

That makes sense to me, because I’ve decreased my dose from 400 mg to 200 mg with relatively few problems.

Coming off Lamictal within 10 days is very doable.

I went from taking 100mg to taking nothing within 5 days.

But please consult with your psychiatrist @Pandy

I will! We already spoke about it yesterday, and he is doing some research of his own into it, and will hopefully be back to me by Friday the latest.
