No, I never feel like napping on zyprexa. I’m lucky if I get something that resembles sleep at night.

You have insomnia on zyprexa?
It used to be horrible on generic zyprexa, then I switched to original and things are much better now. I still have problems sleeping, but at least I get by most days.

Are you able to get a full nights rest on Abilify? I’m thinking of trying it again in the future. It’s what led to my schizophrenia after cutting it cold Turkey but I’m willing to try it again if I have to

Usually yeah, but i still need a nap often time. Its a bit hit and miss. Sometimes i stay awake forever and other times i fall asleep straight away and constantly. Very erratic in general, both schedule of sleep and mood/energy

Do you have any weight gain on Abilify?
All I do is nap. I can’t sleep more than 2 or so hours at a time anymore.

When I use my CPAP machine I never nap however if I don’t then I’m tired all day

Considering that my sleep is basically a series of naps throughout the night I have never napped so much in my life in a sense. I could nap during the day but it’s hard enough getting myself to fall asleep the third or fourth time as the sun is rising without adding naps to the equation. It takes me around 10 hours each night to sleep 7 hours if I’m lucky, even sleeping has become work for me, being able to sleep properly is one of the things I miss the most.

I miss being able to sleep properly as well 
my medication gave me insomnia & it hasn’t gotten better. I’m able to sleep a little bit but not much
What medication are you on?

I nap very rarely, but when I do, I’m like completely unable to recover from one lol I just stay tired the rest of the day

If I nap I can’t sleep at night, so I limit my sleep to the night. When I was on a higher dose of clozapine I’d sleep 12-13 hours but now it’s been lowered I only sleep 8-9 hours. It’s all good.

When I was on 100mg Amisulpride, I had vivid dreams always when sleeping at night and napping at evening.
After reducing to 50mg Amisulpride, vivid dreams has stopped and napping, sleeping is very good.
